My honest journey to loving (or hating) this.

The staff was exceptionally courteous and understanding during our stay, making for a pleasant experience. The location was ideal, being a short distance from various attractions and the beach.

We encountered cleanliness issues with a moldy odor upon arrival in our initial room. The parking situation was tricky, especially due to a tight lot.

this hotel was definetly not what i expected, the room was moldy and had a faint smell of despair. I requested an upgrade, but apparently i couldn't 'receive' that kind of treatment here. and dont even get me started on the awful truck parking situation. i almost gave a nice review but just couldn’t!

I really enjoyed my stay with convenient dining options like Masters Kitchen & Cocktails just a few steps away and the gorgeous Oceanside Coastal Rail Trail, perfect for leisurely walks while discovering the beauty of the area.

We enjoyed a comfortable stay with a spacious room above the main entrance, complete with lovely sun exposure in the mornings. The on-site connections to a wonderful coffee shop and an excellent restaurant made our meals convenient and delicious. However, a bit more attention to sound insulation could enhance the overall experience.

The Queen Room with Two Queen Beds features an impressive layout with ample space that feels roomy, with decor that's modern and inviting. The proximity to bustling nightlife and beach activities makes it easy to indulge in local culture and entertainment.

Unfortunately, the comfort of the beds in my second stay fell short, as they felt quite firm and did not provide the restful sleep I expected. Also, the parking situation can be tricky, especially with larger vehicles—it’s a tight squeeze that might require some patience to navigate.

I loved my stay! The room was cozy and beautifully decorated, providing a perfect escape. Plus, the little bar and coffee shop downstairs was a good touch for relaxed mornings.

The Fin Hotel featured charming vintage Tiffany windows, which added a lovely touch to the decor and ambiance, making my stay feel warm and inviting. The hotel's layout was accessible, making it easy for me to navigate.

Improve sound insulation for better rest.

I had a great stay with super clean rooms and an adorable little bar downstairs, but unfortunately, the shower drain was a bit plugged.

It was just a balanced option for a couple of nights in Oceanside with good value. The site was one of the cleanest we visited, which was a pleasant surprise. Be aware it's a 15-minute walk to the beach and restaurants.

I enjoyed having access to a nearby facility for yoga classes and rock climbing. The breakfast included hot coffee and a variety of fruit, which I appreciated. I felt at home in the air-conditioned room with its unique decor. While exploring, I found the local restaurants and the beach just a short walk away, which made my stay enjoyable.

Parking was a bit tricky, and some of the rooms could use better sound insulation.
